What to contact us about

• Gardening questions: Tell me where you are (city or region) and what you're growing. Local conditions make a big difference to the answer.
• Corrections: If something in a guide is wrong or out of date, please let me know. Accuracy matters, and I'll fix it.
• Topic suggestions: Is there a cold-climate gardening problem you'd like covered? Suggestions shape what I write next.
• Partnerships: Canadian nurseries, seed companies and garden brands are welcome to get in touch. Note that reviews and recommendations are never paid for.

Before you write

• Check the guides first. Your answer may already be in our Ontario fall garden checklist or our guide to Canadian plant hardiness zones.
• Plant problems: A clear photo of the whole plant plus a close-up of the problem helps a lot.
• Urgent issues: For suspected regulated pests (such as emerald ash borer or box tree moth), contact the Canadian Food Inspection Agency or your municipality as well.
